Answers To Your Frequently Asked Fee Questions:
- What Is Your Fee For Therapy Sessions?
My rate is $130 per 50 minute session. I accept cash, card, check, or flexible spending accounts for payment.
Do You Take Insurance?
I am in network with Aetna insurance. However, coverage may vary depending on plan type so I suggest calling Aetna to confirm that I am an “In-Network Provider” for your specific Aetna plan. I can also provide a super bill or receipt of service for you to submit to other insurance providers for potential out of network reimbursement.
How Do I Discover What My Insurance Will Cover?
To find out what your insurance may cover when I am not a contracting in network provider for your insurance plan, you can contact your insurance customer support line and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.
You may also want to mention the type of license that I have to ensure services with my type of credential are covered. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT.
Questions To Ask When Contacting Your Insurance Provider
- What your deductible is
- What your co-insurance payment will be
- How many visits you get per year
- If you need authorization for your visits
- Details on how to submit a superbill
